Released in October 2014, Discochłosta is the duo’s third studio album, which ultimately cemented their status as the kings of comedic disco polo. The album produced some of the biggest hits in the band’s history, including the cult classic Heteromagnes, which quickly racked up millions of views on YouTube.
The album was a significant commercial success, debuting at number 4 on the OLiS chart and quickly achieving Gold Record status.
Musically, the album stands out with its more refined synthesizer arrangements, which, despite their parodic nature, demonstrate a solid level of production.
Bartosz Walaszek’s lyrics on this album reached the heights of absurdity and black humor, accurately, albeit vulgarly, pointing out Polish vices. “Discochłosta” proved that the phenomenon of Bracia Figo Fagot is not just a passing joke, but a lasting and profitable phenomenon on the Polish music scene.
